Welcome to DoctoCare (“App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DoctoCare mobile application and related services. By downloading, registering, or using this App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

DoctoCare is designed to assist registered doctors in managing and maintaining patient information, tracking medical records, and organizing prescriptions, vitals, and tests. The App is intended only for professional medical use and is not a substitute for any medical decision-making or diagnostic tool.

2. Eligibility

Only verified medical practitioners are eligible to register and use the DoctoCare App. By registering, you confirm that you are a licensed healthcare professional and that all information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.

3. Account Registration and Login

  • Doctors can register and log in using their mobile phone number.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Any activity under your account will be deemed as your responsibility.

4. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable medical data protection standards.

Doctors may:

  • Add and manage patient details (name, contact number, age, gender, address, etc.)
  • Add and manage patient notes, vitals, prescriptions, tests, and payment records
  • Upload and store documents, images, and audio files related to patient care
  • Call patients directly through the App
  • Manage medicine databases, including available quantities
  • Edit personal and payment settings (e.g., UPI ID, contact details)

You agree not to:

  • Misuse patient data or share it without consent
  • Use the App for non-professional, illegal, or unethical purposes
  • Attempt to hack, modify, or disrupt App operations

5. Data and Content Ownership

  • All patient-related information added by doctors remains the property of the respective doctor.
  • DoctoCare acts solely as a data management platform and does not claim ownership of user-generated medical content.
  • However, by using the App, you grant DoctoCare the limited right to process, store, and manage such data for providing App functionality.

6. Payments and Transactions

  • The App allows doctors to manage payment preferences, including cash and UPI/QR code options.
  • DoctoCare does not process financial transactions directly. All payment handling is done externally and is subject to third-party payment provider policies.

7. Data Security and Confidentiality

We prioritize the confidentiality and security of medical data. However, you acknowledge that:

  • No electronic system is entirely risk-free; therefore, DoctoCare cannot guarantee absolute data security.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding patient data stored within your account.

8. Limitation of Liability

DoctoCare is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We are not responsible for:

  • Errors or inaccuracies in medical records or prescriptions entered by doctors
  • Loss of data due to user error or third-party interference
  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts found violating these Terms, engaging in unethical practices, or misusing patient information.

10. Updates and Modifications

DoctoCare reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
